:new: As there had been some misunderstanding about the level of White December:

A reminder to everyone when selecting RIDER for the white december; Your rider MUST have experience with endurance races, preferably also cold ones. Beginners at endurance races, or riders who clearly has little to none experience with endurance will be in question for not being accepted. It is counting as extreme-sports and there should be a certain amount of respect towards the people who come prepared. (The Character ideally has a backstory that displays endurance riding or is stated on the training images for the event in case its a newer OC who wishes to join. We fully respect newly created OCs or recently joined creators as well to send their riders, canonically they should just avoid being beginners who are not knowing what they signed up for)

The new requirements for getting your horse accepted to White December
As there has been a lot of issues concerning what people perceive as a ‘winter resistant horse’ we have now updated the requirements
for which horses can enter the white December and which horses cannot. Ultimately, it all relies on how your horse’s mood and well-being
is when coping with temperatures below -20celsius and with snow deeper than 1,5 meters.

The requirements for the horses
(can be one or more of the options below, but must be submitted before the date for preregistration starts!):

:bulletblue:If your horse is a WILD CAUGHT/OAG certified Obertaurer, Norwegian Mountainer or a Myrkrysser, this is a direct qualification to enter White December,
training images are then NOT needed, neither is any further proof of experience or showing.

:bulletblue:If your horse has entered the White December before and you can prove it with showing us the entry picture,
this automatically qualifies you for entering the horse WITHOUT needing to do any new training image

:bulletblue:If your horse has competed in Winter-Themed endurance shows, the steed automatically qualifies to enter The White December

:bulletblue:If your harpg-stable is located at a place where you can prove of very cold climate (below -15 degrees Celsius during winter, with snow!)
your horses will need a WINTER TRAINING in endurance, this training requires a Gallery standard image.
Show us both your stable location and your training image to get approved.

REMEMBER:

:bulletblue: If your horse belong to the breeds listed below, you only need an endurance training picture (season optional)
or an endurance entry picture (season optional) to be accepted.

- Norwegian Dole Horse
- Norwegian Northland Horse (Lynghest)
- Any of the Scandinavian Coldblood trotter breeds
- Norwegian Fjord
- Danish Knabstruper
- North Swedish Horse
- Icelandic Horse
- Fell Pony
- Gotland pony

- Primitive steppe breeds such as Mongolians, Hucul and Przewalski horses
- Canadian Horse / Canadian Pacer / Canadian warmblood

:bulletblue: If your horse is of a created fictional breed, it has to fit ALL the requirements below:
- the breed has to be 100% realistic with no unnatural mutations, strong physical alterations or colors.
- Your stable/origin of the breed must be located at a place where you can prove it is cold and snowy at winters
(requires degrees below -15 celsius and snow more than 50cm).
- You need a wintery training image or a wintery endurance entry image with the respective horse in gallery standard before the end date of preregistration.

Your horse does not fit any the options above or the breed list? Feel free to ask us in a NOTE!
